We (Chelsea Hamilton and Kat Richardson) were ChelseaKat long before the idea for a purse line crossed either of our minds. Our moms were inseparable–so naturally, we were too.
Chelsea was 10-year-old Kat’s first-ever customer at her first-ever business: a lemonade stand.
Kat never missed one of Chelsea’s fashion shows–always the one holding Chelsea’s purse while she walked the runway. One day, Chelsea rolled her eyes and said, “I could carry my own purse… if it were as fashionable as this outfit.”
That night we were up until dawn—Chelsea sketching the first designs, Kat already on the phone sourcing swatches.
